About Stuart

After living in Winter Park for the past 30 years I can honestly say “I love where I live and work.” I am sure you will too. As the Broker Owner of Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties and as the managing broker, I have an extensive background in real estate and business.

Some of my passions are real estate development, my wonderful family, commercial real estate, golf which is a never ending struggle, contracts, skiing on a great powder day, resort property sales, management and of course my buddy Max the most wonderful golden retriever ever.

I work with my business partner Dennis Saffell and together we are Saffell & Huster. We have achieved many awards through the years with Coldwell Banker but most importantly in 2015 we were recipients of the Presidents Circle Award which is the top 2% of agents for Coldwell Banker throughout the world.

My goal is to make the real estate buying and selling experience effective, fun and easy. I stand ready to share my experience and knowledge of Winter Park and Grand County.

My wife and I spent a Sunday afternoon in October looking at homes in Winter Park with Stuart Huster. We walked into the Coldwell office unannounced and he generously showed us around until dark. He had no misgivings about the fact that we were “just looking.” We were pleased with what we saw, and returned for 5 days in December, eventually buying a second home in Fraser. Stuart again gave generously of his time and engineered a price and complicated lease-back arrangement that was satisfactory to us and the seller. Because we live in Kentucky, we did all the subsequent Q and A’s, legal work, insurance work, inspections, and closing – all electronically through your office at Coldwell Banker.

The staff was extraordinarily helpful, and whenever there was a legal question, insurance question, title or homeowner’s insurance question, the CB staff promptly answered my calls undirected me to the appropriate resources. Buying a home is an inherently stressful project. I am grateful to Stuart and your staff for making the process as stress free as possible. Thanks again.

I recently purchased a home in the Winter Park area and had the pleasure of working with Stuart Huster as the transaction broker. The transaction was completed in a very short time (14 days from initial offer to closing) and the compressed timeline put Stu and his team to the test. Thankfully they were more than up for the challenge and were instrumental in timely coordinating the home inspection and obtaining disclosures, electric bills, well permits and other documentation, permitting the transaction to close on time. I have gone through perhaps 10 real estate transactions in the past, and I can confidently say Stu and his team were the best of any real estate professional I have worked with.
